The company was founded by Harishankar Balaji, who has lead the Solar EPC division of V.D.Swami & Company Pvt. Ltd, since 2010 and been responsible for sales, marketing and execution of projects.

As Founder and Director, Hari brings in over 10 years of experience in the Solar PV industry. He is responsible for the overall business development and identification of new business lines for Ra Source. Prior to Ra Source, Hari was heading VDSolar, the renewable energy division of VD Swami & Company. He is a “Boots on the Roof” certified solar PV system installer. He is a postgraduate in Commerce from the University of Madras.
Heera Jayachandran
Director
Heera brings with her over a decade of experience in the IT field, working with major technology giants. Subsequently, she moved on to consulting with smaller startups in the areas of business and process management with a focus on technology and IT strategy. She has a master’s degree in Computer Applications from the University of Madras and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ethiraj College.

General Manager, Electric Mobility projects
A Marine Engineer with over a decade of experience in Commercial shipping, he served as First Engineer on board Container, Car Carrier, and Bulk Carrier vessels with MOL Japan. Keen to pursue the future of Water mobility, he decided to switch from conventional fuel ships to Electric propulsion on water. A passionate engineer with a vision to develop and foster a greener environment and cleaner mobility solutions. He oversees system design, procurement, and project management at Ra Source.
Jagatheesan Rajendran
Manager - Solar Projects
A postgraduate Engineer with a Master's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Jagatheesan’s background in power electronics and drives made him eager to dive into renewable energy especially applications harnessing the sun’s power. With over 8 years of experience working with Grid-tied, Standalone, Off-grid, and Agricultural Solar power plants, he handles plant design, system layout, and overseas entire site operations across projects at Ra Source.

An MBA Graduate from Anna University, Ragavendran has over 8 years of experience in Solar Projects. As Assistant Manager, of Solar Projects at Ra Source, he takes care of office administration including Solar Proposals, Budgeting, Purchases, and Accounting. A quick and efficient Manager with a keen eye for detail, he is always looking to learn and implement newer technologies.
